Take an Inspired Break.

This week I felt the need to be re-inspired. Sometimes we work so much that we lose sight of what we’re trying to achieve and end up feeling low and run down.

So, at the beginning of the week, I actually took a day off! I know right!? (Read the blog post before this!) I enjoyed my birthday and went on an adventure! This was definitely step one to getting my ‘mojo’ back.

Step 2 was going to London Fashion Week, well just London in general. I just have to think about London to become inspired so actually going there is always amazing.

I went down for LFW Festival with a good friend to see a Designer Catwalk (Zandra Rhodes) and soak up some of the fashion week atmosphere.

I purchased some new clothes and networked with some designers. It’s always great to see what other designers and small business owners are up too! After the festival we spent the night at in a rooftop terrace talking about our dreams and ambitions!

img_2636.jpgTo freshen up in the morning we hit Heddon Street Kitchen for a beautiful breakfast and planned our morning. I wanted to check out some jewellery designers who I aspire too and I’m so glad I did!

I went into their stores, soaked up their gloriousness, browsed their designs and tried on their pieces.

I had an incredible experience over the last couple of days and can tell you that the inspiration came flooding back.

Sometimes we need to get away, experience something new and meet other people to keep our eyes on the end goal. We can get so bogged down with day to day running of business that we get stuck in a rut which can result in loss of inspiration and questioning ourselves.

A few things can help prevent this, I find networking helps as does day dreaming and getting away. Planning an inspired holiday to keep you refreshed…
